The multifunction steering wheel delivers effortless command over the on-board computer, vehicle features, and multimedia systems. Equipped with Touch Control buttons and traditional buttons, it enables operation without requiring you to release your grip on the steering wheel. Conveniently situated within easy reach, these Touch Control buttons serve as compact touchpads, usually located on both sides of the steering wheel, contingent on the equipment level. Positioned below the Touch Control buttons, the regular buttons ensure fluid and intuitive control.

Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert introduces advanced safety measures to prevent accidents when changing lanes and backing out of parking spaces. Upon detecting a vehicle in the blind spot, the system initiates visual and auditory alerts. A red triangle emerges in the exterior mirror, signaling the driver. Should the turn signal be activated despite the warning, the triangle rapidly flashes while an audible alert sounds. Furthermore, Rear Cross Traffic Alert aids in evading collisions during reverse maneuvers by notifying the driver of intersecting traffic. This sophisticated technology significantly elevates overall driving safety.

The reversing camera grants a clear perspective of the region directly behind the vehicle, often obscured from view through traditional mirrors. This visual is showcased on the interior rear-view mirror, amplifying safety during parking and maneuvers, particularly in congested traffic conditions. The system contributes to averting vehicle damage and fostering safer driving practices. The camera's display activates upon engaging reverse gear and deactivates automatically when the vehicle shifts into forward motion.

The multifunction box offers a practical and orderly workspace within the vehicle, facilitating efficient completion of daily tasks and paperwork. This compact box incorporates a roomy tray for DIN A4 documents, accessible from both sides. The box's lid transforms into a non-slip writing surface when unfolded. It further encompasses a vertical storage slot for smartphones or clipboards and a central rectangular compartment for pens and office supplies. This setup enables the driver to perform writing tasks in an ergonomic manner while stationary and subsequently store documents in the lower drawer compartment. The box also includes provisions for a lunch box and pre-installed features for a tablet holder. When not in use or with an additional passenger, the multifunction box can be stowed beneath the folding surface of the co-driver bench seat. This inventive solution optimizes functionality while conserving space.

The KEYLESS-START drive authorization system simplifies engine starting: a mere touch of the start/stop button combined with pressing the clutch or brake pedal is all that's required. As long as the electronic key, which holds the drive authorization data, is nearby, the engine can be initiated. This convenience proves particularly advantageous for drivers frequently entering and exiting the vehicle, as the key doesn't need to be retrieved and inserted into the ignition lock every time. The system streamlines the starting procedure, enhancing the overall driver experience.

The electric steering system elevates driver comfort by providing speed-sensitive assistance, enhancing driving stability. It offers heightened support at low speeds and during maneuvers, facilitating effortless steering. As speed rises, the assistance diminishes, enhancing straight-line driving and stability. The Active Axle Response aids in recentering the steering wheel after sharp turns, while also mitigating steering vibrations originating from imbalanced front wheels. It's noteworthy that the electric steering solely consumes energy when the wheel is turned, thereby promoting fuel efficiency. This system synergizes improved comfort, stability, and fuel economy to enhance the overall driving experience.

The automatic driving lights function engages the low beam in response to real-time lighting conditions, relieving the driver of the task and augmenting road safety. This convenience proves particularly valuable in situations involving frequently changing illumination, like entering tunnels, underpasses, or parking garages. It guarantees optimal visibility and safety throughout such scenarios.

The vehicle accommodates nine seats, each equipped with three-point seat belts, ISOFIX attachments, and headrests to ensure passenger comfort and safety. The co-driver's seat offers easy access to the cargo area, while the bench seat can be conveniently removed and reattached using the "Easy Mounting" feature. Rollers beneath the bench seat facilitate effortless loading and unloading of cargo.

Activating and deactivating the electric parking brake is made simple by pressing a button located to the left of the rotary light switch. The system enhances safety and convenience through automatic engagement or release of the parking brake in certain situations. Pressing the button or when the driver vacates the seat triggers parking brake activation. Manual release is achieved by pushing the button, or automatic release occurs when sufficient wheel torque indicates movement. The parking brake automatically disengages when specific conditions are met: the engine is running, the driver is seated, the selector lever is in "D" or "R" position, the accelerator pedal is pressed, or the selector lever is shifted from "P" to "D" or "R".

The MBUX multimedia system presents an extensive array of communication, navigation, and entertainment functions, all conveniently accessible via its 17.8 cm (7 inch) touchscreen. This system facilitates intuitive operation through both the touchscreen and the touch control buttons on the multi-function steering wheel. Prominent features encompass seamless integration of smartphones through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, granting users direct access to their preferred apps on the screen. Moreover, the system provides Bluetooth® connectivity, enabling hands-free phone calls with minimal disruption during driving.

The vehicle's reversing camera supplies a clear view of the area directly behind, assisting in identifying obstacles during parking or maneuvers. Moreover, the Parking Assist feature provides visual and audible alerts upon detecting obstacles in front or behind the vehicle. This contributes to safer parking and maneuvering, particularly at speeds under 10 km/h. To bolster safety further, Drive Away Assist is engineered to automatically decrease the vehicle's speed upon detecting obstacles in the intended travel direction during startup. This functionality aids in preventing rear-end collisions stemming from gear selection errors or confusion between the accelerator and brake pedals.

It proves especially advantageous for tasks such as delivery transport or passenger shuttle services, providing added convenience for children and seniors. The power-operated step functions automatically, smoothly deploying or retracting in conjunction with the opening or closing of the sliding door.

The premium interior paneling of the passenger compartment not only adds a touch of luxury but also contributes to reducing noise and enhancing thermal insulation. Constructed from high-quality plastic materials with integrated fabric covering, it imparts a feeling of prestige. Every row of passenger seats is outfitted with at least one 5 V USB charging port and a convenient smartphone tray. Furthermore, the third row of seats goes a step further by providing two USB charging ports and two dedicated smartphone storage trays. These considerate enhancements ensure that passengers in every row have convenient access to charging their devices and a designated spot to keep their smartphones within easy reach.

The climate control system in the cab guarantees a comfortable environment irrespective of direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Equipped with sensors, it autonomously regulates temperature, ventilation strength, and air distribution according to preset preferences and real-time conditions. This system also includes a de-humidification function to prevent window fogging and maintain clear visibility. The central control element on the console allows for convenient adjustment of essential functions, with selected settings displayed on both the console and, if present, the touchscreen. Furthermore, an integrated particulate filter efficiently removes pollen and dust, leading to cleaner and fresher air inside the cabin. With these features, the climate control system ensures a pleasing and pollutant-free ambiance for all occupants.

The passenger compartment is outfitted with an individual cooling system boasting significant cooling capacity. This system complements the front climate control by adding an extra 11 kW cooling output, ensuring exceptional comfort within the passenger area. Its effectiveness is particularly notable in regions characterized by high temperatures. Passengers have the autonomy to manage their own airflow and even deactivate ventilation using the air vents integrated into their seats. Temperature adjustments and the seven available blower settings can be easily controlled via the A/C control panel in the cockpit. The adjustable temperature range spans from 16°C to 26°C, offering occupants the flexibility to achieve their desired comfort level. Moreover, two pollen and particulate filters are integrated to enhance overall air quality within the interior, fostering a cleaner and healthier environment for all passengers on board.
